New Google Merchant Center Feature: Amplify Your Marketing Emails on Search & Shopping

Google is introducing an exciting new feature in Merchant Center that lets you showcase your promotions and product announcements across Google using content from your marketing emails.

How It Works

Starting April 3, 2025, Google will begin automatically pulling relevant promotional content—like sales, new arrivals, and social media links—directly from the marketing emails you send via your website. This content may appear on Google Search, the Shopping tab, and other surfaces where potential customers are browsing.
For example, if your email highlights a limited-time offer or seasonal sale, that promotion could now be featured in search results—without any extra effort from your team.

What You Need to Know

  • This feature will be enabled by default, but you can opt out at any time in your Merchant Center settings.
  • All content used from your emails will be treated under the existing Merchant Center terms—no additional permissions or agreements are required.
